This Sunday sees Aughrim play host to Wicklow and Down in the Allianz Hurling League and Wicklow and Leitrim in the Allianz Football League.

First up the hurlers take on Down. Down lost out to Derry in their first game last weekend and will be eager to take the two points when they travel to Aughrim. Wicklow had a comprehensive win over Warwickshire however there are a number of areas they will need to improve on if they are to ensure a home victory.

In the second game of the day the footballers take on Leitrim. Leitrim will be confident travelling to Aughrim after their comprehensive win over Wexford in their first game. Meanwhile Wicklow will gain confidence from their victory over Waterford. They battled hard in the second half but I’m sure there is lots they would like to improve on for Sunday.
