Wicklow GAA Management Committee are delighted to announce that they are nominating Kevin O’Brien for the position of Under 20 Football Manager for the 2020 season. Kevin has guided our two most recent Minor Football teams to Leinster Semi Final and Quarter Final stage respectively, and will bring huge experience, commitment and determination to the role.

Kevin’s playing exploits are well known with his Club Baltinglass where he was part of their All Ireland Club success in 1990 and his long service lining out for Co Wicklow. Kevin also represented Wicklow on the Leinster team in the Railway Cup Competition and represented Ireland in two International Rules Series.

Speaking about the role, O’Brien said “It is a huge honour to be nominated for this challenging role. I look forward to working closely with all the players in Wicklow to drive standards and compete at the highest possible level.”. Kevin’s nomination will go before Novembers County Board meeting
