3^rd / 4^th Class Indoor Boys/Girls’ Football Blitz

16^th, 23^rd and 30^th January in Shoreline, Greystones

Indoor football tournament for boys and girls in 3^rd and 4^thclass. 6^th Class Young Whistlers can be used. These teams are not mixed. 

(The emphasis in this competition is on participation and sport for all, 7 a-side). 

Schools will attend on 1 of these days. Please let us know if you cannot attend on 1 of these days. 

Hurling Young Whistlers Course Thursday 16^th January.Venue to be confirmed.

Indoor Camogie 2^nd and 3^rd   Class.

Thursday 6^th February, Shoreline, Greystones. Young Whistlers welcome.

Indoor Hurling 2^nd and 3^rd   Class.

Thursday 13^th February, Shoreline, Greystones.  Young Whistlers welcome.

Eleven-a-side and no age limit at 11.45 a.m.

(Your school will be contacted regarding which venue you will be attending)

Points only, goalkeeper. 3points for a point, 1 point for a goal.

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 1

5^th March at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – 9 a-side (Teams will be graded on this day.) 

Goalkeeper, points worth 3, goals worth 1 point

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 2

19^th March at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – 9 a-side (Teams will be in divisions from Day 1 and this is a competitive competition.)  Full rules.

INTO Skills Challenge​

(Two pupils per school may participate in each discipline – Boys’ and Girls’ Football, Camogie and Hurling.)

Please note if a child has already played in Croke Park they cannot take part in the skills competition.Participants must be born on or after January 1^st 2008

Regional events will take place on the week of 20^th April and those selected will go forward to a county selection day which will be held on the week of the 27^th April in Ballinakill.  

May 7^th – 3^rd and 4^th Class Boys/Girls Football

11.45 a.m. in Bray and Kilcoole/venue to be confirmed – One day nine-a-side football blitz.

Credit Union Cup​

14^th May at 11.45 a.m. in Ballinakill – One day boys’ nine-a-side hurling blitz.  Competitive based games

Allianz Camogie Day​

21^st May at 11.45 a.m. in Ballinakill – One day girls’ nine-a-side camogie blitz.  Competitive based games

Sports Day Meeting​​

Thursday 4^th June at 8.00 p.m. in NewtownmountkennedyPrimary School

It is imperative that any school participating in Sports Day 2020 is represented at this meeting

Wednesday 10^th June at 10.00 a.m. in Charlesland Sports and Recreational Centre (There are strict age limits for Sports Day)
