Fantastic Indoor Hurling and Camogie

The boys and girls of 2nd and 3rd classes in Kilcoole Primary School and St. Laurence’s Primary School had a fantastic afternoon of indoor hurling and camogie on Thursday the 13th February.  Both schools participated in the 7-a-side indoor blitz in Shoreline Leisure Centre, Greystones. The emphasis of the day was on ground hurling and participation. Both blitzes were refereed by newly qualified Young Whistlers Joey Drumgoole and Saoirse Goff. Well done to all who participated on the day.

Boys’ Football Allianz Coughlan Cup Day 1

Day 1 of the Allianz sponsored Cumann na mBunscolCoughlan Cup takes place on Thursday 27th February in Bray Emmets GAA Grounds at 11.45 a.m.  It’s a 9-a-side tournament, no age limit, goalkeeper, with 3 points awarded for a score over the bar and 1 point awarded for scoring into the net (the emphasis on point scoring).

Time: 11:45 a.m.

Location: Bray Emmets GAA Club

Rules: 9-a–side, goalkeeper, 3 points awarded for over the bar, 1 point awarded for under the bar.
