The launch of the Lightning Protection Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship took place on Sunday in Glendalough.
The championship starts this weekend with the nine teams divided into two groups with the top two teams in each group going into the semi-final.
Group 1: Avondale, Bray Emmets, Kilcoole & St. Patrick’s
Group 2: Arklow Rock Parnells, Aughrim, CarnewEmmets, Glenealy & Western Gaels
Wicklow GAA Chairman Damien Byrne said:
“The intermediate hurling championship has always been a very competitive championship with any team capable of winning. It is an important championship for clubs who aspire to compete for the senior title in the coming years.
Once again thanks to Lightning Protection Ireland for their support and best of luck to all teams.”
