Around 5-15pm on Sunday evening the finalists in the Boom & Platform Junior A, the Darcy Sands Intermediate and the Renault senior football championships should be known.
In the senior the holders Rathnew put their crown on the line with 2016 intermediate winners AGB appearing in their first semi-final since 1963 with a 4-30pm start on Saturday.
On Sunday St Pats and Hollywood meet in what promises to be a close encounter with Hollywood looking for their first final place since 2000. St Pats were last in the final in 2016. This game has a 3-30pm start time.
In the intermediate last years Junior A winners Laragh who last won an intermediate in 1982 meet Carnew who have not been in a final since they won the title in 2008. Saturday 3pm for this game.
Tinahely who won their last intermediate in 2005 meet Kilmacanogue winners of the Junior A in 2016 in what could be another close contest. This one has a 2pm throw in.
All the above games are in Joule Park.
The junior A will see An Tochar play Valleymount in Blessington and Kilcoole face Barndarrig in Wicklow Town. These promise to be two very close games.
Admission to Joule Park both days is €15 for Adults, €10 for students and OAP’s, under 16 free. It is €5 for the games in Blessington and Wicklow Town with under 16 free.
