The winners of Sundays under 20 football A championship final in Joule Park will become the first recipients of the Corn Peadar Mac Eochaidh.
It is the first time this cup will have been played for and it is named after the late Peter Keogh from Talbotstown, Kiltegan who died in February 2016. Peter was president of Wicklow GAA for over twenty years, served as chairman of the county board, was also the first PRO in Wicklow GAA as well as holding numerous roles in administration throughout his life in the GAA. Peter done a huge amount of work with juveniles all his life promoting the games he loved and Wicklow GAA hope this competition will be a fitting tribute.
AGB and Baltinglass throws in at noon on Sunday with Garreth Whelan from Peters home club Kiltegan the man in the middle. Admission is €5.
