When and where did you first start playing Hurling? Apart from the front lawn as a child in Annacurra my Hurling career kicked off when I started playing with Carnew Emmets in 2006

Biggest influence on your Hurling career: The father would have to get the nod but James ‘The Bear’ Doran of Carnew would be a close second

Favourite Venue: From my one game there I have fond memories of Semple Stadium

Favourite G.A.A. player past or present: Eoin Murphy or Stephen Cluxton

Toughest player to mark in training? James Cranely, his intensive gym sessions have him too strong for everybody else

Advice to younger players? Listen to your coaches even if you don’t agree with what they’re saying, they are there to help

Any other sports played? Football, Badminton
