Poc Fada Cill Mhantáin 2023
It’s Wicklow Poc Fada time and this year we are being supported by our Senior Hurling sponsors GS Yuasa UK and Somora Motor Parts
Up for grabs in the Hurling competitions will be Wicklow GAA county medals to officially recognise the winners as Wicklow GAA Poc Fada County Champions.
As in previous years, the competitions will be held as duel events with the Hurling pocking off at 11:00am followed by the U16 Camogie at 12:00pm and the Senior Camogie at 12:30 in Ballinakill COE.
Each of the 4 winners will also represent Wicklow in the Leinster Poc Fada Final on Saturday 8th July on Mount Leinster. From there qualification for the MD Sports All-Ireland Poc Fada will be up for grabs.
Entry is open to all Wicklow Hurling and Camogie players, because in Poc Fada ‘Senior’ is simply the term for any player who is a member of an adult-age team. This means Intermediate or Junior team players can enter the Senior competition.
