The first quarter final of the Renault Wicklow senior football championship will take place on Sunday in Joule Park.
One of the form teams in 2018 have been AGB and they will hope to keep their run of good results going with a win over Kiltegan. They were pipped for first place by St Pats after a draw with the Wicklow Town men and wins over Newtown, Baltinglass and Annacurra and another draw with Blessington.
Kiltegan came through their group finishing in third place behind Rathnew and Hollywood. Wins over Bray, Avondale and a draw with Eire Óg ensured their progress.
The curtain raise is a play-off game with Rathnew and Hollywood to decide top place in the group with the winner progressing to the semi-final and the loser facing Baltinglass in the quarter-final next weekend.
It promises to be a good days action in Joule Park with admission €10 for adults, €5 for students and OAP’s.
