Traffic Management Plan for Exiting County Grounds on County Football Finals Day
An Garda Síochána & Wicklow GAA will be operating a specific traffic management plan on Sunday 7th November 2021, County Football Finals Day.
At the conclusion of both the Intermediate and the Senior games, BOTH exit gates will be open to allow vehicles to exit the County Grounds in as safe a manner as possible.
We hope the following instructions and the attached image provide clarity for the arrangements.
Persons wishing to exit Aughrim County Grounds via the
EASTERN GATE (the town end) will be required to TURN RIGHT ONLY ON EXIT.
Persons wishing to exit Aughrim County Grounds via the
WESTERN GATE (the Herbst end) will be required to TURN LEFT ONLY ON EXIT.
Wicklow GAA remind everyone attending games to always;
Follow advice of stewards when within Wicklow GAA locations including the County Grounds Aughrim.
Follow instructions of members of An Garda Síochána when exiting the County Grounds, www.garda.ie
At all time follow the rules of the road and advice of the Road Safety Authority, www.rsa.ie.
