Wicklow GAA under 16 footballers recorded their third victory on the bounce overcoming Antrim in the semi-final of the Gerry Reilly Shield in Abbotstown. They now advance to play Laois in the shield final which will be played on Saturday the 17th of August. The under 16 squad is sponsored by e-Frontiers
Wicklow made a slow start but showed great character to stay in the game and settle. The lads finished the 1st half well and kicked on in the second half displaying excellent work rate and quality on the ball. 21 players were used by the final whistle.
