Did you know the Wicklow GAA Poc Fada is pocking off this Sunday morning in Ballinakill COE at 11:00 am with the U16 & Senior GAA Poc Fada Hurling competitions?
Did you know Wicklow Senior Hurling keeper and Nickey Rackard Cup winner Conor McNally of Bray Emmets GAA Club will be attending? Conor will be bringing the Nickey Rackard Cup with him!
Did you know Damien Bryne Cathaoirleach Wicklow GAA will be presenting the U16 & Senior Hurling Poc Fada winners with their County Championship medals, meaning they will be officially recognised as County Champions?
Important information for Sunday:
- All players are to attend no later than 20 minutes before the start of their event, meaning 10:40am for the hurling and 11:40am & 12:10pm for the Camogie. This will allow time for player registration and run through of the course and rules.
- Each player must bring their own sliotars. Sliotors will NOT be provided by Wicklow GAA or Wicklow County Camogie.
- Each player should bring with them their own spotter.
- Each player should where possible bring with them a scorekeeper, who should be willing to keep score for a different player.
Each winner will represent Wicklow in the Leinster GAA Poc Fada final on Saturday 8th July on Mount Leinster Co. Carlow.
A big thanks to our County Hurling sponsors GS Yuasa UK and Somora Motor Parts for their support.
